Program Requirements

  • College and high school students seeking community service or internship credit

  • Recent graduates exploring nonprofit careers

  • Career changers looking to gain experience in community programs or culinary services

To apply for an internship or to complete community service hours with Community Kitchen Service, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 16 years of age.

  • Complete a registration and application form prior to starting any hours.

  • Provide valid identification and, if applicable, proof of school or court-mandated service hours.

  • Attend a mandatory orientation session to review safety protocols, service expectations, and program guidelines.

  • Commit to a minimum number of service hours, as determined by the program coordinator.

  • Maintain professional conduct and adhere to all organizational policies while participating in Community Kitchen Service programs.
